अंतिम वर्षातील विद्यार्थ्यांची परीक्षा रद्द, ग्रेड नको असलेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी 'बेस्ट ऑफ टू' चा पर्याय

 राज्यातील करणाचा वाढत असलेला विळखा आणि आगामी पावसाळ्याच्या पार्श्‍वभूमीवर विद्यार्थ्यांची मानसिकता व त्यांच्या सुरक्षेच्या दृष्टीने राज्यस्तरीय समितीने वर्षातील विद्यार्थ्यांची परीक्षा रद्द करण्याचा निर्णय निश्चित केला आहे.  त्यामुळे आता मागील सत्रातील गुणांच्या सरासरी वरून 50 टक्के तर अंतर्गत मूल्यमापनावरून 50 टक्के गुण देऊन त्यांच्या ग्रेट नुसार मूल्यमापन केले जाणार आहे.  मात्र या विद्यार्थ्यांना ग्रेड मान्य नसेल त्यांना  अपग्रेडेशन साठी संधी दिली जाणार आहे. अपग्रेडेशन ची परीक्षा दिल्यानंतर त्या विद्यार्थ्यांना पूर्वी दिलेल्या ग्रेट पेक्षा अधिक गुण मिळाले, तर ते गुण ग्राह्य धरले जातील अन्यथा पूर्वीच्या ग्रेट  तसाच राहणार आहे.   प्रथम व द्वितीय वर्षातील राज्यातील सुमारे 40 लाख महाविद्यालयीन विद्यार्थ्यांची परीक्षा करण्याच्या करोनाच्या प्रादुर्भावामुळे रद्द करण्यात आली आहे. तर विद्यापीठ अनुदान आयोगाच्या मार्गदर्शक  सूचनांनुसार 1 ते 31 जुलैपर्यंत अंतिम वर्षातील सुमारे दहा लाख विद्यार्थ्यांची परीक्षा घेण्याचे नियोजन झाले होते. तत्पूर्वी 1...

EDUCATED GIRL - A Superfluous personality or Key Player?

A great proverb says “If you educate a man you educate an individual, but if educate a woman you educate a family i.e. a nation". But how many people in India genuinely follow this proverb? A mere 50% follow it, rest are still narrow minded and think education is not meant for girls.
